Tip #2
Set up "Text Replacement" when starting a new video game
When I start a video game, I know I'm going to be doing a ton of "googling." So I create a text replacement on my iPhone that expands an abbreviated term. Rather than type out "Death Stranding something something" a million times, I set up "ds" to expand into the repetitive part of my inevitable searches. If you're on an iPhone you can do it by:
- Open Settings app
- Tap General
- Tap Keyboards
- Tap Text Replacement
- Create a new replacement. I typically use the first letter of each word as a mnemonic device.
Now you just have to type a few letters out, have it auto-complete, and finish typing your actual question. Huzzah!
